A priestess and apparent field leader of a Bhaalist cell who led the surprise raid aboard the Chionthar Princess, issued demands publicly, murdered a staff member to prove intent, and escaped through a dark portal after the party defeated her. Her cultists identified her by name and described her as the architect of the attack that sought the ship's cargo of firearms. Mirelle is the name whispered now by those who still kneel to the Lord of Murder. She is neither raving butcher nor blood-drunk zealot, but something colder: a soft-spoken priestess of consequence, draped in crimson and crowned with a pale skull said to belong to one of Bhaal’s own defiant children. Where older Bhaalists gloried in spectacle, Mirelle treats murder as doctrine. To her, a death only matters if it changes the behavior of the living. Since her emergence, scattered murder-cults across Baldur’s Gate have begun moving with unsettling purpose. Victims are chosen, scenes are arranged, and survivors are left behind with deliberate care, as if fear itself were being cultivated. Some call her Bhaal’s new Chosen. Others refuse to say her name at all. Either way, wherever Mirelle appears, slaughter stops looking like madness and starts looking like a message.
