An orc woman guest at the Eomane party who fought decisively against the servants and later revealed herself as a Harper agent by showing a hidden silver crescent pin. Minerva had been undercover investigating the Eomane household's Bhaalist ties and volunteered to stay on the ground floor to protect surviving guests.

Minerva al-Qadir presents herself as a visiting orc noble from Calimshan, currently boarding with the Eomane family in the Manorborn District. She’s fashionable, poised, and effortlessly social—an elegant presence at salons and dinners, equally comfortable discussing trade routes, gemstones, and gossip. Most people clock her as “exotic” in the shallow Upper City way: a novelty with excellent taste and a dangerously charming grin. She doesn’t argue with that assumption. She uses it. And she seems, at first glance, to be exactly what she claims: well-connected, well-funded, and here to enjoy the Gate’s best wine on someone else’s tab.

The truth is sharper. Minerva is a Harper agent planted with the Eomanes to investigate their links to the Dead Three and their illegal slave trade funneling victims toward Thay. She isn’t Calishite nobility at all—she’s from Berdusk, raised hard on the streets, and she learned long ago that survival is a mix of charm, nerve, and knowing when to disappear. The Harpers gave her purpose and polish, then handed her a mission that requires both: live in the lion’s den, smile at monsters wearing perfume, and gather proof without becoming the next “unfortunate scandal” quietly removed from society.
